As reported by WSB-TV, Atlanta Hip-Hop artist 2 Chainz recently added "Smoothie King franchise owner" to his list of accomplishments just before the NBA Draft Party. Alongside his friend Phillip Jones, the artist has opened a new kiosk inside State Farm Arena as part of a partnership with Smoothie King, joining the company's existing franchisee family. Reflecting on the significance of this collaboration, 2 Chainz, who hails from College Park, expressed that the partnership has been a long time coming. He revealed, "I visit Smoothie King at least twice a week, so this partnership has been a long time coming. Opening a Smoothie King in State Farm Arena felt like the right move for me. Throughout my health journey, I’ve been mindful of my choices, and when I go to games and events it’s no different – I’m always looking for nutritious options and Smoothie King is in a class of its own when it comes to delicious smoothies with no added sugar. I’m proud to join the brand."

Smoothie King CEO, Wan Kim, echoed this sentiment by expressing the brand's excitement about welcoming 2 Chainz to their franchisee family and emphasizing the alignment between the rapper's passion for health and wellness and the company's mission to inspire a healthy and active lifestyle. Kim described the collaboration as an ideal fit, citing 2 Chainz's entrepreneurial spirit as a reflection of the core of the Smoothie King brand.

Notable for its status as the official smoothie partner for the Atlanta Hawks since 2023, Smoothie King's new location at State Farm Arena has also garnered excitement from the Atlanta Hawks franchise.

Andrew Saltzman, Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer of the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This is an incredibly exciting time for our franchise and the entire community. Having two of our favorite partners in 2 Chainz and Smoothie King select State Farm Arena for a new location is a perfect fit. Our fans will enjoy having another nutritious and delicious option at games and concerts."
